10.5 CHANGING THE AIR VALVE

1. Flush and clean the spray gun in accordance with Chapter 8.1.3.
2. Relieve the pressure of the product pressure generator and of the spray gun in
accordance with Chapter 7.4.
3. Unscrew locking cap (A) with a size 16 wrench.
4. Carefully remove pressure spring (B) and unscrew air valve (C) with a size 10 Allen wrench.
5. Replace air valve (C), coat with Loctite® 542 (D) and put back in, together with the
pressure spring (B), then tighten with 6 Nm.
6. Apply Loctite® 542 (D) to the locking cap (A) and retighten with a size 16 mm wrench
and a torque of 12 Nm; 8.85 lbft.
