Ironing Recommendations

• Check before ironing whether the garment which is to be ironed has a label with
ironing instructions on it and follow them. Otherwise select the ironing temperature
based on the type of fabric. The recommended temperature and steam settings are:
Label
Synthetics (e.g. nylon, viscose), silk,
velvet
Wool
Cotton
Linen
Not suitable for ironing
• With blended fabrics base the temperature setting on the most delicate blended fi bre.
• Sort the textiles based on the ironing temperature and start with the garments which
require the lowest temperature. If the temperature on the device is reduced, wait a
short while until the bottom of the iron has cooled down and then continue ironing.
• Iron delicate textiles inside out.

Use

The water reservoir (13) needs to be fi lled with water for steam-ironing or spraying. This
is not necessary for dry-ironing.
Filling the Water Reservoir
CAUTION!
■ Do not overfi ll the water reservoir!
■ Never pour any additives into the water reservoir. These could cause damage to the
device.
1. Make sure that the device is not connected to the mains power and is not hot.
2. Flip open the water reservoir cap (3).
3. Fill the water reservoir (13) with approx. 2 measuring cups of tap water.
4. Flip the water reservoir cap (3) fi rmly shut again. It must click audibly into place.
