After use

ATTENTION!
❐ After every use, pull the mains plug out of the socket.
❐ The device may still be very hot after use. Allow the device to cool off completely
before you empty the water tank and/or clean and stow the device.
❐ Never submerge the device in water or other liquids!
❐ Never touch the device, the cable or the plug with wet hands.
❐ Do not use any scouring or abrasive cleaners or cleaning pads for cleaning. They
could damage the surface.
❐ Never wind the cable around the device.
1. Set the iron down in the station.
2. Switch off the station after use (switch position 0), turn the steam quantity control to
OFF, the temperature control to 0 and disconnect the plug from the socket.
3. Let the device cool off completely.
4. Empty the water tank after every use. Remove it from the station for this purpose and
pour the remaining water in a basin.
5. When needed, wipe off the device housing with a soft, damp cloth and dry it with a
soft cloth.
6. Before you store the device, let it cool off completely and let all parts dry.
7. Store the device in a dry, clean frost-free area that is not accessible to children.

Troubleshooting

If the device is not working properly, please check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself fi rst. Otherwise contact customer service. Do not attempt to repair a
defective device yourself!
Problem
No steam is emitted.
Potential cause/solution
• Is the water tank fi lled with water?
• Has the steam quantity control been set to the OFF posi-
tion?
• The device has not yet reached the operating temperature.
Wait till both control lights go out.
• Is the temperature control set to a low temperature level?
Select a higher temperature level.
• If you set a higher temperature level, the generated steam
is dry and almost invisible. This will be intensifi ed further
through a high environmental temperature. Set the temper-
ature control to a lower temperature, in order to check if the
device produces steam.
