HYDRAULIC SYSTEM OIL LEVEL CHECK
1.
Engage the parking brake (3, Fig. D).
2.
The indicator (3, Fig. G) must show that the hydraulic system oil tank is full.
3.
If necessary, remove the plug (14, Fig. G) and top up. For the types of oil to be used, see the Technical Data chapter.
NOTE
Top up by using the same type of oil that is in the tank.
COMBINED RADIATOR FIN CLEANING CHECK
WARNING!
Protect body parts (eyes, hair, hands, etc.) properly, when performing cleaning procedures using compressed
air or water gun.
1.
Drive the machine on a solid and level ground, then engage the parking brake (3, Fig. D).
2.
Lift the hopper as shown in Using The Machine paragraph.
3.
Turn off the engine, by turning the ignition key (6, Fig. D) counterclockwise, to the end of stroke, then remove it.
4.
Install the support rod (1, Fig. M).
5.
Clean the combined radiator fi ns (15, Fig. G) with compressed air (maximum 6 Bar). If necessary, point the compressed air in
the opposite direction of the cooling air.
6.
Inside the radiator (15, Fig. G), check that the fan turns freely.
7.
Perform steps 3 to 6 in the reverse order.
BATTERY FLUID LEVEL CHECK
WARNING!
Protect body parts (eyes, hair, hands, etc.) properly, when performing battery check and cleaning procedures.
1.
Engage the parking brake (3, Fig. D).
2.
Lift the hopper as shown in Using The Machine paragraph.
3.
Turn off the engine, by turning the ignition key (6, Fig. D) counterclockwise, to the end of stroke, then remove it.
4.
Install the support rod (1, Fig. M).
5.
To disconnect the battery (18, Fig. F), turn the key of the release device (37, Fig. G) and then remove it (see Fig. X).

Check the colour of the hygrometer (1, Fig. Y); if it is green the battery is ok, if is red:
•
The battery must be refi lled with distilled water
•
The battery must be charged.
If the hygrometer colour is still red, the battery must be replaced.
7.
If necessary, clean the battery.
8.
Check the battery terminals for proper tightening and oxidation.
9.
Insert the battery by installing and turning the key of the release device (37, Fig. G) to horizontal position.
10.
Remove the support rod (1, Fig. M) and lower the hopper as shown in Using the Machine paragraph.
BRAKE FLUID LEVEL CHECK
1.
Engage the parking brake (3, Fig. D).
2.
Turn off the engine, by turning the ignition key (6, Fig. D) counterclockwise, to the end of stroke, then remove it.
3.
Check that the fl uid level in the tank (18, Fig. D) is between the MIN and MAX marks. If necessary top up using the same type
of fl uid that is in the line.
4.
Type of fl uid used: DOT4.
5.
Oil quantity: 0.2 USgal (0.7 litres).
