HOPPER DUMPING

The maximum hopper dumping height is 63 in (1,600 mm).
Dump the hopper according to the following procedure.
1.
Stop the machine in working mode as shown in the previous paragraph.
2.
Start the engine as shown in the relevant paragraph and drive the machine to the appointed dumping area.
WARNING!
Perform the hopper dumping on a solid and level ground, to avoid machine unbalance.
Keep people away from the machine and especially from the hopper (2, Fig. G).
3.
Enable the hydraulic system by pressing the lower part of the switch (31, Fig. E).
WARNING!
When the hydraulic system is enabled, when pressing the switch (31, Fig. E) the engine speed automatically
reaches 1,100 rpm.
Pay careful attention when driving because the machine accelerates all of a sudden.
4.
Carefully lift the hopper (2, Fig. G) by pressing and holding the upper part of the push-button (24, Fig. E).
NOTE
The hopper lifting and lowering is signalled by a buzzer.
CAUTION!
When the hopper is lifted, the machine maximum speed is 5 km/h. In this condition, the accelerator pedal feel is
very poor, which signifi es that the machine is not being used properly.
5.
Lift the hopper and then dump it by pressing and holding the upper part of the push-button (22, Fig. E). When dumping, the
door opens automatically to allow the debris to come out.
CAUTION!
When emptying the hopper, if the rear door opens anomalously, check the locking cylinders (1, Fig. W) by
removing the doors (2). The procedure can be performed on both sides.
6.
After dumping, if necessary, clean the hopper as shown in Maintenance chapter.
7.
Return the hopper to horizontal position by pressing and holding the lower part of the switch (22, Fig. E).
NOTE
Returning the hopper is essential because the machine is equipped with sensors that prevent the hopper from lowering if
it is not horizontal.
8.
Fully lower the hopper (2, Fig. G) by pressing and holding the lower part of the push-button (24, Fig. E) until the warning light
(3) turns off.
9.
Turn on the suction fan for a few seconds by pressing the lower part of the switch (30, Fig. E). In this way the hopper rear door
closes.
10.
Turn off the fan by pressing the upper part of the switch (30, Fig. E).
11.
The machine is ready to start working again.
