Installation instructions

The unit may only be installed and re-
paired by an expert. Read the installa-
tion instructions carefully before working,
and then comply with them!
Disregarding installation instruc-
tions or erroneous installation
can put people in danger and cause
damage to property.

Safety instructions

– Residual gas: No smoking, no naked flames!
– It must be ensured that the MonoControl CS gas tank gas
pressure regulation system is not subjected to stresses and
is installed and attached in such a way that no damaging
vibrations can be transmitted to the gas pressure regu-
lation system.

– Vibration in the vehicle chassis is transmitted to the gas
tank. If the gas tank is not properly attached, so much
vibration may be transmitted that the crash sensor is trig-
gered or valve damage occurs.
– If necessary, additional measures must be taken to rule out
negative effects of potential vibration on the valves, gas
lines and gas pipe connections.
– Particular attention must be paid to having suitable gas line
routing that can absorb or decouple the movements be-
tween the tank and the chassis, for example, that are caused
by liquid gas tank vibration (particularly in the case of tanks
that have a large capacity or are attached to the side).
– Among other things, the following standards must be taken
into consideration:

– If the MonoControl CS gas pressure regulation system is
installed in the flow direction downstream of another press-
ure regulation device, the supply pressure range must
correspond to the regulated pressure range of the upstream
pressure regulation device, taking into account the pressure
loss of the pipeline in between.
– In the case of caravans and motor homes with 30 mbar
consumers, the maximum pressure loss ΔP of the down-
stream installation to the consumer must not exceed
5 mbar (ΔP5).
