Possible cause / solution
• The food was not cut up into pieces of equal size.
• The basket insert is overfi lled. Do not fi ll it any more than
2/3 full.
• With some food (e.g. chips) it is advisable to mix the food
around from time to time to obtain an even cooking result.
To do this, remove the drawer (5) from the device, take
the basket insert out of the drawer (5) and mix the food
around.
• The selected temperature is too low. Set it higher.
• The cooking time is too short. Adjust the cooking time.
• In the case of chips made from fresh potatoes, the cook-
ing result will be more even if the potatoes are precooked
in the device for around fi ve minutes before preparing the
chips.
