Apple Turnovers
Ingredients:
1 – 2

50 g
1 – 2 tbsp.
1 – 2 tbsp.
To taste
Preparation:
1. Peel the apples, remove the cores and cut them into small pieces.
2. Mix together the pieces of apple, fl our, sugar and lemon juice and add cinnamon to
taste.
3. Roll out the puff pastry and divide it into squares with an edge approx. 10 cm long.
4. Spread one tablespoon of the fi lling onto the middle of each of the pastry squares.
5. Brush a little water onto the edge of the pastry and fold it up into triangles. Firmly
press down the edge of the pastry.
6. Cook the apple turnovers one after the other in the device (see "Use"):
Cooking temperature: 170 – 190°C
Cooking time: approx. 13 – 15 minutes
The apple turnover should be golden brown, extend the cooking time by 5 – 10
minutes if necessary if the apple turnover is still too light in colour.
Cleaning and Storage
CAUTION!

Do not spray cleaning agents directly onto the device.

Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents for cleaning. These can damage
the surface. Do not use any metal objects.
Clean the device each time after you use it and keep it clean to prevent the formation of
germs.
1. Once the device has cooled down, remove the drawer (5) with the basket insert (7)
from the device.
2. Attach the metal handle to the basket insert.
3. Pull the basket insert out of the drawer (5) by the metal handle.
4. Take the metal handle off of the basket insert again.
5. Clean the drawer (5) and the basket insert with warm water and mild detergent. In the
case of any stubborn dirt, soak it beforehand in warm water and detergent.
6. Clean the housing (7), the inside of the drawer compartment and the heating ele-
ments if necessary with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
7. Store the device in a clean, dry place that is protected from sunlight and is not acces-
sible to children and animals at temperatures of between 0 and 40°C.
