Use

CAUTION!
The basket insert will become very hot during use. Always use the metal
handle for inserting the basket insert in the drawer or pulling it out!
Insert the drawer into the device only with the basket insert placed in it.
Make sure that the drawer containing the basket insert is correctly inserted into the
device before the device is switched on.
Do not pull the drawer out of the device during operation. Always switch off the device
before the drawer is removed.
Do not overfi ll the basket insert (max. up to 2/3) so that the food does not touch the
heating element inside the device during use.
Do not place food that is wrapped in cling fi lm or in plastic bags in the basket insert.
The drawer and the basket insert are hot after being removed from the device! Only
ever place on a heat-resistant surface!
1. Place the device on a dry and heat-resistant, fl at surface a suffi cient distance away
from fl ammable objects.
2. Insert the mains plug into a properly installed 220 – 240 volt plug socket.
3. Insert the metal handle on the basket insert. To do so, press the metal handle on the
sides together and insert the open ends into the bracket on the basket insert. When
releasing the metal handle, its catches will hook into the bracket. Ensure that the
metal handle is securely attached!
4. Insert the basket insert into the drawer (5).
5. Take the metal handle off of the basket insert by squeezing the ends together and
pulling it out of the basket.
6. Pour the food that is to be prepared into the basket insert.
7. Insert the drawer (5) with the basket insert into the device.
8. Use the temperature control (1) to set the cooking temperature you want.
9. Use the timer (3) to set the cooking time you want (max. 30 minutes) in order to start
the cooking process. After the timer (3) has been activated, the operating lamp (8)
lights up to indicate that the device has been switched on. The temperature control
lamp (2) also lights up as soon as the device starts heating up.
The temperature control lamp (2) goes out and lights up on a regular basis. This
indicates that the device stops the heating process at regular intervals and then
heats again to maintain a constant temperature.
10. Once the set timer time has elapsed, a beep is heard and the supply of heat is
automatically stopped. The timer (3) can also be moved manually to the 0 position to
pause the cooking process (e.g. to mix food together) or end it prematurely.
11. Pull the drawer (5) with the basket insert (7) out of the device by the handle (6) and
place it down on a heat-resistant, non-slip surface.
12. Attach the metal handle to the basket insert again. Pull the basket insert up out of
the drawer (5).
13. Remove the food that has been prepared from the basket insert.
14. Pull the mains plug out of the plug socket and allow the device to cool down.
15. Clean the device after each use (see "Cleaning and Storage").
