Possible cause / solution
•
Is the mains plug inserted in the plug socket correctly?

Is the plug socket defective? Try another plug socket.
•
Test the fuse of the mains connection.
•
Has a cooking temperature been set?
•
Has a cooking time been set? The device only switches
on once a time has been set! Note: With a cooking time of
less than three minutes, the timer (3) must fi rst be turned
beyond the 3-minute mark and then put back.
•
Has the drawer (5) been inserted correctly? The device
only works if the drawer (5) has been inserted correctly.

moving the timer (3) to the 0 position. Pull the mains plug
out of the plug socket and allow the device to cool down

•
Has the basket insert been overfi lled? It should be no
more than 2/3 full with food.
•
Use waxy potatoes. Young potatoes contain more water
and therefore take longer to cook and it is possible that
they may not go as crispy.
•
The basket insert is too full, place fewer potatoes into the
device.
•
The chips are cut too thick. Cut them into thinner pieces.
•
Spray / coat the uncooked potatoes with a little oil if nec-
essary.
•
Has additional oil been used? For the preparation of
frozen products, there is no need to add any fat as most
frozen products are already prefried!
