3.3 Preparing Cappuccino, Latte Macchiato

Using the special frother, the milk will be automatically drawn from the milk cooler and
be filled into the cup.
• Fill the milk cooler with milk, close the lid and connect the suction hose (Fig. A)
• Connect the other end of the suction hose to the connection (8a).
☛ The milk can also be drawn directly from the milk carton. To do this, immerse
the hose in the carton.
TIP: Dried milk residues are very difficult to remove. You should therefore clean every-
thing thoroughly once it has cooled down! Always follow the instructions in the display
«Rinsing the frother» (see Chapter 5.1).
Turn the Control button (2) to the desired symbol in the Main menu:
The standard factory settings are shown in the bottom row:
If the standard settings correspond to your requirements:
• Place a cup under the outlet (5).
• Press the Control button (2) once.
• The cup lighting turns on and the appliance prepares the desired cup of coffee.
☛ Y ou can prepare two cups directly, even if the number of cups has been set to
1. Briefly press the Control button (2) twice and place two cups next to each
other under the outlet (5). Two milling cycles are carried out, one after the other.
☛ If it should happen that the water or the coffee beans run out precisely
between the two milling operations, or if the drip trays need to be emptied, this
will be displayed and the second cup of coffee will not be prepared. Follow the
instruction on the display and then press the Control button (2) for the second
cup of coffee.

The process can be cancelled at any time by pressing the Exit button (5).
If you want to change the standard settings:
• Press the > button (3). The beans display starts to blink.
• Turn the Control button (2) until the desired number of beans blinks (see information
in Chapter 3.2).
• Press the > button (3). The total amount (water + milk) blinks.
• Turn the Control button (2) until the desired amount is displayed.
• Press the > button (3). The «Prop. coffee» display blinks.
