• Clean all the parts thoroughly, reassemble everything and push the frother upwards
back into the outlet.
• Replace the cover plate on the outlet again.
Cleaning the brewing unit
When required, the brewing unit can be taken out and can then be cleaned under
running water. Do not use any detergents for this, only water!

We would recommend that you clean the brewing unit once a month.
Please note: The appliance must be in the Stand-by mode (On/Off button (9) at Off)
when cleaning!
• Open and remove the right hand cover (12).
• Disengage the brewing unit (21) by pressing the red switch and turning the handle
to the left as far as the stop.
• Carefully pull the brewing unit out of the housing using the handle.
• Clean the brewing unit under running water. Thoroughly rinse out the milling cham-
ber and the mesh screen, and then allow the brewing unit to dry out.
• Carefully push the brewing unit back into the housing, and engage it by pressing
down the red lever switch and turning the handle to the right as far as the stop.
• Remount the cover again.
