8.3 Drive control lever
The machine has two forward drive
speeds (slow forward and fast forward) as
well as reverse drive. They are set via the
drive control lever.
Move drive control lever (1) to the front or
rear as appropriate to the required drive.
Drive settings:

Attention!
Select drive settings only when the
gearbox has come to a standstill
and the self-propulsion lever is not
actuated. (

Drive control lever is in the 0/R position:
This setting is selected when starting the
engine or when keeping the tiller stationary
with the engine running or also when using
the PTO (
9.1).
Drive control lever is in the 1 position:
This setting is selected for slow forward
drive.
Drive control lever is in the 2 position:
This setting is selected for fast forward
drive.
To set fast forward drive, press the
drive control lever to the left and
then push it forwards.

8.4 Self-propulsion lever

The drive is engaged or disengaged by
actuating the self-propulsion lever when
the engine is running – the drive shaft
begins to rotate or is stopped.
When the self-propulsion lever is actuated
and with the hoes and running wheels
installed, the tiller moves upon contact with
the ground.
The self-propulsion lever is mechanically
locked for safety reasons. This prevents
inadvertent actuation. (

Avoid damage to the machine!
Actuate the self-propulsion lever
quickly and promptly. Do not dwell
in the half-pressed position.
