3.3 MOUNTING THE SHOCK
1. Install the shock in accordance with the specifications of the bicycle or frame manufacturer.
→ Observe the specifications of the bicycle or frame manufacturer when setting the tightening
torque of the fastening screws.
→ If using shocks with trunnion mount, do not exceed a tightening torque of 20 Nm (see image).
2. Check to ensure the rear shock is installed correctly. To do this, release some air (see Sec. 4.4 on
page 17) and compress the shock completely in the frame.
→ No part of the shock may come into contact with the frame, aside from the connection points.
→ Ensure that all moving parts can move freely.
3. Increase the air pressure to the desired pressure (see Sec. 4.3 on page 17).
3.4 ATTACHING THE REMOTE CABLE

1. Put on the cable housing (1) and the cable adjuster (8).
→ Only use cable housings with an outer diameter of 4.2 mm.
→ The cable housing must be long enough to allow the handlebars to turn fully in both directions.
The shock and other components must function properly at all times.
→ Before and after the cable adjuster (8) there must be at least one short piece of cable housing.
2. Switch the remote lever to the "OPEN" position and route the cable (2) through the cable housing
(1).
3. Place the cable (2) around the remote wheel on the shock and clamp it using the clamping screw
(3). When tightening the clamping screw, do not exceed a tightening torque of 1.3 Nm.
4. Shorten the cable housing (2) and press on the cable end crimp (4).
5. Switch to "DRIVE" mode using the remote lever and adjust the cable tension.
→ Shock with standard mount: The "DRIVE" marking (5) on the remote wheel must face the stop
screw (6).
→ Shock with trunnion mount: The "DRIVE" marking (7) on the remote wheel must face the valve.
