•
Make sure that the left and right side sliding tubes are
mounted on a equal distance from the rear of the vehicle
chassis [See Fig. 5.20].
•
SIDE-mounting: Mark the pattern for the drill
holes of all mounting brackets on the chassis.
Lower the sliding tubes and the HTL frame
again, so that you have easy access to the
area where the drills must be executed.
•
Drill the required holes into the chassis (ø of
the drill = M-value of the bolt + 0.5mm), apply
sufficient anti-corrosive protection (zinc-spray,
Dinitrol...) to the freshly made chassis perfora-
tions, and allow to dry.
•
Fit the sliding tubes and mounting brackets as shown [See
Fig. 5.21].
