NOTICE: Generally, the capacity of the battery will be
reduced by about twenty per cent after 500 charging
cycles. A replacement battery can be purchased as ar-
ticle no. 6711.
When the model begins to flash quickly in bursts of
5 and in intervals of 2 seconds, then you have a max-
imum of three minutes to continue driving. The battery
is then empty and has to be charged again.
The system start
The
SIKUCONTROL32
connection system. You no longer have to select a channel as
you do with various other products. The remote control mod-
ule and the models connect with each other automatically
and do not interfere with other SIKU models travelling in the
same area or devices with other radio technologies (e.g.
WLAN or Bluetooth). To make things clearer and to make
operation easier, current and future models will be allocated
to 3 different levels:
– Level A: Towing vehicles / Machines
– Level B: Trailers / Semi-trailers /Appliances
– Level C: Stationary equipment
The LED displays for these three levels, marked A, B, C, can
be seen on the remote control module. As soon as the re-
mote control is connected with the model, then the model is
saved in the corresponding level in the remote control mod-
ule for the duration of the play sequence. The corresponding
button shines constantly.
This allocation which is carried out at the beginning of every
new play sequence requires a distinction to be drawn be-
tween whether the user is going to play with the model(s)
alone, or whether several people are going to use several
models at once.
If you want to play with one or several models on your own,
then please heed the information in category a).
If you want to operate several models with several persons,
please heed the information in category b).
a) One player, one model
1. Turn the model on. To do so, move the ON/OFF switch
on the back of the vehicle from the OFF position to the
ON position. The model flashes thus indicating its opera-
tional readiness.
2. Turn on the remote control module by pressing the red but-
ton. It shines red – the remote control module is operational.
Please note: The sequence of first having to switch on
the model and then the remote control module must be
respected.
3. Now the connection between the model and the remote
control module is established. This process can take up to
five (5) seconds.
4. The connection between the remote control and the mod-
el has been established when the level A button (for tow-
ing vehicles) and the headlights and rear lights of the
model shine constantly. The model is saved in the remote
control module and is ready for operation. It can only be
operated with this remote control module during this play
sequence.
5. Play can begin.

radio equipment has an automatic
Please note: By turning off the remote control module
(please constantly press the ON/OFF button for 3 – 4 sec-
onds) the connection with the model is interrupted. This
deletes the model from the internal memory. The establish-
ment of a connection described above and beginning with
step one has to be carried out again for the next system start.
b) Several players – Several models
Before beginning a play sequence with several players and
models, the systems of the individual players have to be start-
ed up. To ensure that the remote control modules only find
the models of the respective player, each individual has to
start up his system separately one after another. The proce-
dure for the start is the same as described in category a).
Example: Four people want to play with four SIKUCON-
TROL
32
models (towing vehicles) together in a room. To
ensure that everything runs smoothly, the systems have to be
started one after another. To begin with, all remote control
modules and models have to be switched off. Player one
now turns on his model and then his remote control module.
If player one's level LED is shining, then his system is opera-
tional. Only then can player two follow this procedure. Once
his level LED is shining, then it's player three's and then play-
er four's turn.
This process will only run smoothly if this order is
strictly observed.
c) Addition of models
Using the
SIKUCONTROL32
radio system, you can control
an almost unlimited number of different models. If you have
started your system with one or two models, and after a time
you want to add an additional model, then your remote con-
trol module has to find and save this model.
Keep the remote control and the models which you are al-
ready using on. If you now switch the model you want to
add from OFF to ON, then the model's light will begin to
flash fast. This is the signal that the model is ready to connect
with the remote control module. To connect this model with
the remote control module, press the SCAN button. After
the connection has been successfully established, the model is
allocated to the corresponding level and is available immedi-
ately. During the scanning process, the corresponding level
button goes out and comes back on again once the connec-
tion has been successfully established. The model stored on
this level up to now is not lost, but is kept in the background.
By pressing the corresponding level button you can switch
between both the models of a level.
Example: If the model to be added is a
model, then the remote control model stores the vehicle in
level A or B after the model has been switched on and the
SCAN button has been pressed. During the SCAN process,
the level A or B button which was previously illuminated goes
out. If the model and the remote control module have con-
nected, then the corresponding level button lights up again.
The new vehicle is automatically saved by the system so that
you can drive it immediately. The vehicle that was last added
is always the operational one. If you now want to switch be-
tween the vehicles stored on the same level, press the level A
button once (or more than once depending on the number
of models stored). Every time this button is pushed, the next
model that is saved is triggered.
