c) Submenu "LENS"
Here you can switch the iris aperture of the lens between "AUTO" (automatic) and „MANUAL"
(manual) (default setting is „AUTO").
By selecting "AUTO", and pressing the button, you can call up a submenu in which you can make
further adjustments.
"TYPE" Lens type switch, between "DC" and "VIDEO"
The default setting "DC" must not be changed. The setting "VIDEO" is not
supported by this camera, because a DC lens is permanently installed.
"MODE" Selection of the aperture opening
"AUTO": Automatic adjustment by the camera (default setting)
"OPEN": Aperture open
"CLOSE": Aperture closed
"SPEED" Sets the speed of the aperture, depending on the lighting conditions
d) Submenu "SHUTTER/AGC"
The camera is equipped with a DC lens. Therefore, it is best if you leave the setting at "AUTO" so
the shutter speed can be selected automatically, depending on the ambient light.
When selected, both "AUTO" (automatic) and "MANUAL" (manual) will call up a submenu, when
the button is pushed.
Setting "AUTO"
With high ambient brightness ("HIGH LUMINANCE"):
"MODE" "AUTO IRIS": Here, the shutter is set to a fi xed value and only the iris aperture
is automatically controlled.
"SHUT+AUTO IRIS": Both shutter and the iris aperture are automatically con-
trolled.
"SHUT": This indicator appears only when you switch to "MANUAL" in the
„LENS" menu.
"BRIGHTNESS" Adjusts the brightness, if "AUTO IRIS" was selected
With low ambient brightness ("LOW LUMINANCE"):
"MODE" "AGC/OFF": Automatic gain control on/off
"BRIGHTNESS" Select the gain factor (x0.25, x0.50, x0.75, x1.00)
