8. Setup Menu
a) General instructions
The camera has an extensive setup menu. The special button used for operation is located on the
camera's connection cable.
In the setup menu, various settings can be made, including the language for the setup menu.
From here, you can also reset the settings to the default.
To call up the setup menu, activate a submenu or confi rm a setting, press the button briefl y (like
a conventional button).
To select a setting function or to change a setting, the button can be moved in four directions (see
label next to the button):
"L"
"R"
"UP"
"DOWN"
b) Setup Menu, call up/exit, save settings
To call up the setup menu, press the button briefl y. The setup menu is displayed in the picture on
the connected monitor.
If you want to set the language for the setup menu (default is English), see Chapter 9. n).
To save all settings, select "SAVE ALL", and briefl y press the button.
If the setup menu is exited, without the settings being saved with "SAVE ALL", they will be
lost if the camera is disconnected from the power supply or if there is a loss of power!
Therefore, do not forget always to fi rst select "SAVE ALL", and confi rm by pressing the but-
ton, before exiting the setup menu. Then, all the settings you have changed will be saved,
if the power supply fails. Only after this should you exit the setup menu.
To exit the setup menu, select "EXIT" and confi rm, with a brief press of the button. The menu
overlay will then disappear from the monitor image.
