Enter, Tab, Up arrow and Down arrow. These
correspond to the same keys on the PC keyboard
(see the section "USING THE CONSOLE WITHOUT
THE COMPUTER" in the Help section of the
manual).
Use Tab to shift the cursor between the different
fields/buttons on the screen. Use Enter to confirm
the selection or activate the button.
The " " and " " keys have the same functions as
the corresponding keys on the keyboard, and are
used to scroll the selection options in the various
lists or lists of video races and respectively
activate and deactivate the charts while the user
does a video race.
In the upper part of the console there are 3 red
LED's having different functions.
The middle LED indicates console status:
• LED turned off: the console is off.
• LED blinking: Searching for connection or Stand
Alone mode.
• LED on: console connected with USB key.
The LED on the left lights when one of the four
touch keys is pushed/tapped on. The LED on the
right blinks in proportion to the resistance level
of the roller when used in "Stand Alone" mode.
TROUBLESHOOTING
• What to do before running the software?
Connect the USB ANT dongle, power up the
trainer (or if in sleep mode, just pedal for a few
seconds in order to wake it up) and touch a key
of the console to wake it up. Then launch the
software.
• The PC does not recognize the USB ANT don-
gle ("Dongle ANT not found" error)
Verify that the dongle is correctly connected to
a USB port of the PC.
Install properly the USB ANT dongle driver (see
procedure).
If the dongle and driver are correctly installed
but the program doesn't recognize the USB ANT
dongle, then remove the USB ANT dongle and
re-connect it to the same USB port, then run
the software again.
• The trainer doesn't connect ("RealAxiom
ANT not found" error)
Be sure the trainer is connected to the power
supply.
If the trainer has been connected to the power
supply for more than 2 minutes (and hasn't
been used), then it will go to sleep mode. Pedal
for a few seconds to wake it up. Then run the
software.
If it still doesn't connect, then probably the
Device Trainer Number hasn't been set cor-
rectly. Check if the Device Trainer Number is
28
correct, using the "Settings-Edit Trainer
Number..." menu. Check if the value matches
the value on the trainer. Then re-start the sof-
tware.
If the software still doesn't connect to the trai-
ner, disconnect the power supply, remove the
batteries from the console, remove the USB
ANT dongle from the PC. Re-connect the power
supply to the trainer, re-insert the batteries
into the console and re-connect the USB ANT
dongle to the PC and start the software.
• The console doesn't work
If the console doesn't work, then verify the fol-
lowing:
- that the console is on. To switch it on, touch
any key. After about 3 minutes, if it doesn't con-
nect to the software, the console goes to sleep
mode to save batteries.
When it wakes up from sleep mode, the central
led blinks. After connection is made with the
software, the central led remains lit:
- that the console is not in stand-alone mode
(see below) when launching the software;
- the console must be on before launching the
software;
- the batteries are charged;
- if the trainer still doesn't connect, then proba-
bly the Console Serial Number hasn't been set
correctly. Check if the Console Serial Number
is correct, using the "Settings-Edit Trainer devi-
ce number..." menu. Check if the value matches
the value on the console. Then re-start the
software.
• Stand-alone mode
The stand-alone mode allows you to use the
trainer without a PC. In this mode, the console
can't connect to the software/PC.
To enter the stand-alone mode:
- switch the console on;
- press the up ( ) and down( ) keys simulta-
neously;
- keep the buttons pressed until the right led
starts blinking.
To enable the connection of the trainer to the
software/PC, you must exit the stand-alone
mode:
- press the up ( ) and down( ) buttons simul-
taneously;
- keep the buttons pressed until the right led
stops blinking.
• Heart rate value missing
If the software doesn't show the heart-rate
value, then verify the following points:
- that the heart-rate belt is an ANT+ transmitter
model. RealAxiom ANT is not compatible with
other HR belt standards;
- wear the belt before launching the software;
