Applying Silicone Oil
Applying the enclosed silicone oil to lubricate the
helmet's moving parts, such as the face cover and
shield/visor pivot points. First, remove any dirt or dust
then apply a small amount of oil to the designated
part as per drawing. Wipe away any excess oil.
Check for adequate lubrication regularly.

Application d'huile de silicone
Appliquer l'huile de silicone fournie pour lubrifier les
parties mobiles du casque, comme la mentonnière et
les charnières de l'écran. Premièrement, enlever
toute saleté ou poussière, appliquer ensuite une
petite quantité d'huile à l'emplacement indiqué sur
le schéma. Essuyer tout excédent d'huile. Vérifier
régulièrement que la lubrification est suffisante.

QSV-1 Sun Visor
The QSV-1 sun visor can be opened and
closed by sliding the sun visor lever on
the left side of the shell. To open the sun
visor, pull the lever down until it stops in
the position shown in the drawing. If the
sun visor is not fully open, it may slip down
and close unexpectedly during riding due to
vibration or other phenomena and your view
may be obstructed.
Removing the QSV-1 Sun Visor
1.
Open the face cover. See "Opening and Closing
the Face Cover."
2.
Lower the QSV-1 sun visor.
3.
Hold the sun visor and use service tool to widen
the space between the sun visor holder and the
sun visor as per Drawing 1. Detach the sun visor
by rotating it in the direction shown by the arrow.
4.
Follow the same procedure for the other side.
Installing the QSV-1 Sun Visor
1.
Slide the sun visor lever to the position shown in
the drawing 2 and hold it not to move the holder.
2.
As shown in Drawing 2, insert the convex part 1
at the bottom edge of the QSV-1 sun visor into
the holder. While rotating the sun visor upward,
press the rounded part 2 of the sun visor into the
holder until you hear it clicks.
3.
Follow the same procedure for the other side.
4.
Remove any fingerprints on the sun visor by
wiping with a soft, dry cloth.

WARNING
If the sun visor is not installed properly, it may drop
unexpectedly during riding and obstruct the rider's
vision. After installing the QSV-1 sun visor, raise
and lower the visor several times to confirm that the
protruding section of the sun visor is fit securely in
the holder's opening. Confirm that there is no space
between the sun visor and the holder.

Ecran solaire QSV-1
L'écran solaire QSV-1 peut être abaissé et
remonté en faisant glisser le levier d'écran
solaire situé du coté gauche de la coque.
Pour remonter l'écran solaire, abaissez le
levier au maximum jusqu'à la position montrée
dans le schéma. Si l'écran solaire n'est pas
complètement remonté, il pourrait glisser et
se fermer inopinément pendant l'utilisation,
à cause des vibrations ou autre facteur, et la
vision pourrait en être affectée.
Extraction de l'écran solaire QSV-1
1.
Ouvrez le cache frontal. Reportez-vous à la section
« Ouverture et fermeture du cache frontal ».
2.
Abaissez le pare-soleil QSV-1.
3.
Tenez le pare-soleil et utilisez l'outil de service
pour élargir l'espace entre le support du pare-soleil
et le pare-soleil comme indiqué sur le Schéma
1. Détachez le pare-soleil en le tournant dans la
direction indiquée par la flèche.
4.
Suivez la même procédure pour l'autre côté.
Installation de l'écran solaire QSV-1
1.
Faites glisser le levier du pare-soleil jusqu'à la
position indiquée sur le schéma 2 et maintenez-le
afin de ne pas déplacer le support.
2.
Comme indiqué sur le Schéma 2, insérez la partie
convexe 1 du bord inférieur du pare-soleil QSV-
1 dans le support. Tout en faisant tourner le pare-
soleil vers le haut, appuyez sur la partie arrondie 2
du pare-soleil dans le support jusqu'à ce que vous
entendiez un « clic ».
3.
Suivez la même procédure pour l'autre côté.
4.
Effacez toute trace de doigt du pare-soleil à l'aide
d'un chiffon doux et sec.

Si l'écran solaire n'est pas correctement installé, il
pourrait se détacher de manière inattendue et gêner
la visibilité. Après avoir installé l'écran solaire QSV-
1, actionner le de bas en haut plusieurs fois afin de
s'assurer que le mécanisme est fermement maintenu
par les fixations. Vérifiez qu'il n'y a aucun espace
entre l'écran solaire et les fixations.
