• Never use accessories other than those recommended by the manufacturer. Failure to do
so could pose a safety risk to the user and could damage the appliance. Only use original
parts and accessories.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge.
• This appliance must not be used by children under any circumstances.
• Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
• Always disconnect the appliance from the mains if it is left unattended or is not in use,
and before assembly, disassembly or cleaning.
• Never leave the appliance unattended during use.

Special safety precautions

• Keep the appliance away from any hot surfaces and open flames. Always operate the
appliance on a level, stable, clean and dry surface. Make sure the appliance is placed in
a safe manner.
• Do not use the appliance to process excessively hard or fibrous foods (e.g. rhubarbs).
• Danger of burns! Do not use the appliance during the cooking process, with boiling liq-
uids or hot fat.
• Danger of injury! Care shall be taken when handling the sharp cutting blades, emptying
the cutting tools and during cleaning.
• Warning! Never put your hands or any other object inside the feeding chute while the
appliance is operating.

• Keep fingers, hair, clothing and utensils away from all moving parts. Dry the appliance
and all the parts/accessories before connecting to the power supply and prior to attach-
ing the accessories.
• Never use a spoon, a spatula or similar to remove ingredients out of the appliance during
operation. In case, you have to remove something out of the feeding chute, always switch
off the appliance and unplug it before you do so.
• Make sure the lid is attached properly and securely locked before operating the juicer. Do
not unfasten the safety arm or remove the lid during operation.
Grounding installation
This is a class I appliance. This appliance must be
grounded. In the event of an electrical short circuit,
grounding reduces the risk of electric shock by pro-
viding an escape wire for the electric current. This
