6.7 Working with the guiding device
Use the following procedure to work with the
guiding device:
1. Secure the workpiece against shifting.
2. Position the machine on the guiding device.
See also chapter 6.5 Connecting the machine
with the guiding device.
The left side of the milling head

corresponds to the right side of the
rubber lip on the guiding device.
3. Adjust the milling depth.
4. Set the machining angle at the movable sliding
bevel segment 15 on the guiding device.
5. Hold the machine at both handles 11 and 24.
6. Place the machine with the guiding device on
the workpiece and push the two stop bolts
towards the workpiece.
7. Switch on the machine.
8. Push the machine steadily forward in working
direction.
9. Switch off the machine at the end of the milling
process.
Wait until the tool has stopped

completely. An "orange" signal of the
warning lamp tells you that the tool is still
rotating.
10. Pull the machine back to the starting position
while it remains on the workpiece.
This ensures that the lower movable

guard closes completely. A yellow sticker
on the guiding device indicates the
starting position. The machine is in the
safe starting position when you pull it
back behind the mark (in the direction of
SAFE).
11. Remove the machine from the workpiece
when it is in this position.
Machining with the guiding device is

completed.
