6.5 Connecting the machine with the guiding device
Use the following procedure to connect the
machine with the KSS guiding device:
1. Position the machine behind the ratchet on the
KSS guiding device.
2. Ensure that the guiding groove on the
machine (identified by a notch) matches
exactly the fold provided on the KSS guiding
device.
3. Slip the machine in the processing direction
onto the KSS guiding device until the machine
engages in the ratchet 14.
The machine is connected with the KSS

guiding device.
6.6 Detaching the machine from the guiding device
Use the following procedure to detach the
machine from the KSS guiding device:
1. Advance the machine slightly on the KSS
guiding device.
2. Press and hold the ratchet 14.
3. Pull the machine from the rear away from the
KSS guiding device.
The machine is detached from the KSS

guiding device.
