B. Avoid contact with grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, stoves and refrigerators. The
risk of electric shock is greater when the user's body is grounded.
C. The device must be protected from rain and moisture. If water enters the power tool, the risk
of electric shock increases.
D. Never use the cord for other activities. Never carry a power tool by a cord or use a cord to
hang the appliance; Also, do not pull the plug out of the socket by pulling on the cord. The
cord should be protected from high temperatures, kept away from oil, sharp edges or moving
parts of the device. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
E. When working with a power tool in the open air, use an extension cord that is also suitable
for outdoor use. Using the correct extension cord (suitable for outdoor use) reduces the risk
of electric shock.
F. If it is unavoidable to use the power tool in a humid environment, use a residual current
protective device. The use of a residual current circuit breaker reduces the risk of electric
shock.
3. Personal safety
A. When working with a power tool, use caution and perform each operation carefully and with
caution. Do not use a power tool when you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol
or medication. A moment of inattention with a power tool can cause serious personal injury.
B. Wear personal protective equipment and safety goggles at all times. Wearing personal
protective equipment – a dust mask, footwear with non-slip soles, a hard hat or hearing
protection (depending on the type and use of the power tool) – reduces the risk of personal
injury.
C. Unintentional start-up of the tool should be avoided. Before inserting the plug into the socket
and/or connecting to the battery pack, as well as before picking up or moving the power tool,
make sure the power tool is switched off. Holding a finger on the switch while moving a
power tool or plugging in a power tool can cause an accident.
D. Before switching on the power tool, remove the adjusting tools or wrenches. A tool or wrench
found in moving parts of the appliance may lead to personal injury.
E. Unnatural working positions should be avoided. It is important to maintain a stable working
position and balance. In this way, it will be possible to better control the power tool in
unforeseen situations.
F. Appropriate clothing should be worn. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep hair,
clothing, and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothing, jewelry or long hair can get
caught in moving parts.
G. If it is possible to install dust extraction and capture devices, make sure that they are
connected and will be used correctly. The use of a dust extraction device can reduce the dust
hazard.
4. Proper handling and operation of power tools
A. Do not overload the device. Power tools that are provided for this purpose should be used
for operation. With the right power tool, you work better and safer in a given performance
range.
B. Do not use a power tool whose on/off switch is damaged. A power tool that cannot be
switched on or off is dangerous and must be repaired.
