ALWAYS check the operation of all gun safety devices before each use. Be very careful when removing
the spray nozzle or hose from the gun. In the connected system, the fluid is pressurized. If the nozzle or
system is connected, the decompression procedure must be used.
ALWAYS keep the nozzle guard on the gun when spraying. The nozzle guard warns of danger and
protects against accidentally placing your fingers or any part of your body close to the nozzle of the
sprayer.
Extreme care should be taken when cleaning and when replacing the nozzle of the sprayer. If the nozzle
of the sprayer is clogged, lock the gun immediately. ALWAYS follow the DECOMPRESSION
PROCEDURE, then remove the nozzle of the sprayer and clean it. NEVER wipe off any material that has
accumulated around the nozzle
Risks of Toxic Liquids
ALWAYS remove the nozzle cover and nozzle for cleaning after shutting off the pump and
depressurizing using the DECOMPRESSION PROCEDURE.
Risky liquids or toxic fumes can cause serious injury or even death if splashed on the eyes or skin, or if
inhaled or swallowed. It is important to know the dangers of the liquid you are using. Hazardous liquids
must be stored and disposed of in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines and local, regional and
national guidelines.
ALWAYS use safety goggles, gloves, clothing, and respirator as recommended by the fluid manufacturer.
Hoses:
Tighten all fluid connections securely before each use. High pressure can tear a loose connection or cause
spray fluid to escape from the joint, which can result in severe personal injury.
Use only spring-protected hoses. The spring protector helps protect the hose from looping or other
damage that could cause the hose to break and cause spray-related injuries. Do not allow hoses to loop
or crease, or to vibrate on rough, sharp and hot surfaces.
For hydrodynamic applications, use only electrically conductive hoses. Check that the gun is grounded
with hose connections. Use only hydrodynamic high-pressure hoses with static wire, approved for 3000
psi.
NEVER use a damaged hose or it may cause damage or rupture to the hose and spray injuries or other
serious personal injury or property damage. Before each use, inspect the entire hose for cuts, leaks,
abrasions, bulges, or damage or displacement of connections. In these situations, the hose should be
replaced immediately.
NEVER use tape or other materials to repair the hose as it will not withstand the high pressure of the
fluid. NEVER RECONNECT THE HOSE.
When spraying and cleaning with flammable paints and thinners
1.
When spraying flammable liquids, the unit must be at least 6 m away from the spray area in a
well-ventilated area. The ventilation power should be adequate to prevent the accumulation of
fumes.
2.
To eliminate electrostatic discharge, ground the sprayer device, paint bucket, and spray object.
Only use hydrodynamic high-pressure hoses approved for 227 bar.
