new
effect.
Operation dial or shuttle ring:
Selects icons and characters
FUNCTION A button: Moves the
cursor (flashing point). Each press
moves the cursor back one
position
FUNCTION B button: Deletes the
character at the cursor position
(flashing point).
FUNCTION C button: Inserts a space
at the cursor position (flashing
point).
FUNCTION D button: Moves the
cursor (flashing point) Each press
moves the cursor forward one
position.
FUNCTION E button: Switches
between small and capital letters.
FUNCTION F button: Registers the
name and memory number.

When finished entering the name,
press the FUNCTION F button.
"Completed!!" is displayed on the
screen.
Memory protection function
This function prevents the accidental
erasure of a user memory location that
contains an effect you want to keep.
Protected memory numbers cannot be used
unless the protection is removed by editing
the user memory number in system mode
(see page 56).
