Using the Tuner
1 Press the METER/TUNE button a
few times until the tuner display
appears.
Each press of the button switches the
display in the following order: inpul
level meter display, output level meter
display, tuner display.

Press the FUNCTION B button to
activate the tuner.

Set the parameters.
(If the displayed parameters do not need
to be changed, this step is not required.)
Press the appropriate FUNCTION
button (D~F) to select the desired
parameter, then turn the operation dial
or operate the shuttle ring to set the
desired value.

Input a sound (a single tone) from
the musical instrument.
The name of the closest pitch is
displayed. Tune the instrument so that
the correct pitch name is displayed and
the indicator comes to the center of the
display.
a) Lower than the displayed pitch
b) Tuned correctly to the displayed pitch
c) Higher than the displayed pitch
Set the input level relatively high, but
not so high as to cause distortion.
When tuning a guitar, carry out tuning
the front pickup whenever possible.

When finished tuning, press the
EXIT button.
The original display returns.
Parameter settings
CALIB (calibration):
Sets the A4 reference pitch. Set in the range
of 435~445Hz.
TYPE (tune type):
Select NORMAL, b (flat) or bb (double flat).
With this function you can perform flat or
double flat tuning using the normal tuning
display.
LEVEL (output level):
Sets the output level. (When using the
tuner,
all
effects are turned off.)
