Edit mode
To compare the effect of
the
modified settings with the
original settings (memory
comparison)

changes, select the last page using ihe
EDIT/PAGE button.
2 Press the FUNCTION E button.
'Compare" is displayed on the screen,
and you can listen to the sound
processed by the original, unedited
effect.

Press the FUNCTION E button again to
return to the sound processed by the
current setting values.
To change two parameters
simultaneously (parameter
linking)
If the same type of parameter selected by
the FUNCTION (A-F) button also exists on
another channel, you can link the two
parameters so that changes made to
parameter settings on one channel will
automatically be mirrored on the other
channel.
Parameter linking is carried out by pressing
the FUNCTION (A-F) button of the
currently selected parameter (indicated by
reversed video) again. The screen display of
a linked parameter displays both "CHI"
and "CH2" in reversed video.
To unlink a parameter, press the same
FUNCTION (A-F) button again or press a
different function button.
To copy or initialize an effect
In System mode, you can use the COPY
function (see page 56) to copy the entire
contents of a memorized effect.
In Edit mode, you can copy only the effect
block currently being edited.
1 Perform steps 1~3 of the "Changing the
Effect Type" procedure (see page 30).

Press the EDIT/PAGE button to select
the last page.

Select the COPY function.

Press the FUNCTION A button, then use
the operation dial and shuttle ring to
select the memory location you want to
copy. (The memory location after U100 is
"Initialize Data." Selecting this item will
initialize all parameters other than ON/
OFF and TYPE.)

Press the FUNCTION F button to copy
(or initialize) the memory contents.
