INSTALLATION ON THE TRACTOR
INSTALLATION OF MOWER DECK
NOTE: Place the tractor on a level and hard ground.
Stop the engine and remove the key before
connecting or disconnecting the drive shaft.
Shift the range shift lever to the neutral posi-
tion. Make sure that the parking brake is ap-
plied and the PTO lever is in the off position.
1. Remove 2 bolts on the transmission case, and
detach the PTO shaft cover,A and the bracket, B.
2. Assemble PLATE/COVER/MID COMP with 2 bolts
at the holes indicated in FIG. 5-2 and 5-3. These
holes are also used for fixing the PTO shaft cover, A
and the bracket, B introduced in the previous step.
● Before installing the mower deck, set the height of
all gauge wheels to the lowest position 1.0" (25mm).
Otherwise, it is impossible to correctly adjust the
linkage.
● Start the engine and shift the hydraulic control lever
to lift up the linkage to the highest position.
● Stop the engine and remove the key.
