Activating interface functions
This control unit has two options for connecting to the build-
ing control system or similar systems.

Basic function of the Modbus RTU protocol:
The control unit supports the Modbus-RTU bus system as
a standard feature. The connection is made at the RS 485
interface (see connection diagram). In a Modbus network,
data is exchanged via the serial device interface (RS485 2-
wire) using a master-server model.
In this mode, the control unit constitutes a Modbus slave.
