Before connecting the unit, compare the connecting data (voltage and frequency) on the type plate with those of your energy network.

These details must correspond so that no damage occurs to the unit. In case of uncertainty, contact a qualified electrician.
The socket has to be protected at least by a 10 amps circuit breaker.

Make sure that the connecting cable is not damaged and not laid across hot surfaces or sharp edges.

The connecting cable must not be stretched tightly.

The electric safety of the unit is ensured only when it is connected to a socket with protective conductor installed correctly. Operation on a
●
socket without protective conductor is forbidden. If in doubt, let the house installation be checked by a skilled electrician. The manufacturer
does not assume responsibility for damage which has been caused by missing or interrupted protective conductor.
EXPLANATION OF POSSIBLE DISPLAYS IN THE LCD DISPLAY
PRIOR TO FIRST USE
Prior to first use, clean the group handle (not the unit) and the water tank under running water so that potential production residues are removed.
After that, re-insert the water tank. Screw on the rotary knob. Proceed as follows:
Remove the slotted screw and the spring washer at the front of the holder of the rotary know for the steam.

Place the rotary knob on the rotary knob holder.
●
Ensure that one tip of the rotary knob is pointing upwards when the steam valve is closed.
●
Insert the screw with the spring washer into the hole provided and tighten it with the enclosed screwdriver.

IMPORTANT!
Vent the unit prior to initial commissioning or after you have not used the unit for a long period of time. Do not insert the group handle for
venting.

The unit heats up, the On/off switch
flashes.
This means that the rotary adjuster for
steam is not properly closed

The unit is ready for operation.
This mode counts the time it takes to pre-
pare the coffee.
A signal tone will sound if there is not
enough water in the tank any more.
Please fill in new water.
This displays the current setting for the
brewing temperature. You have the op-
tion of changing the brewing tempera-
ture in +/- 1° C increments between
86° C and 98° C.
This shows the setting for the steam. You
can select whether the steam shall be
wet or dry. You can select between 7
stages.
During pre-brewing, the coffee grounds
in the group handle are moistened be-
fore the actual extraction. You can set
the duration of the pre-infusion in 5 lev-
els. You can switch off the pre-infusion
with level P 0.
Here you can set the flow rate until the
next descaling.
You can select between 12 l, 25 l and
50 l.
Resets the unit to factory settings.
Here you can set the display language.
You can choose between DE - German
and EN - English
