BEZZERA MATRIX-DUO
MOD.
Problem
The coffee dispensed is too cold Possible causes:
The coffee dispensed is tepid
The coffee dispensed is too hot Possible causes:
Coffee deposits on the bottom
of the cup
The coffee dosing switch flash-
es once selected
All lights of the keypad are
flashing, the coffee maker is
completely blocked
Troubleshooting/Solution
1) The filter holders are cold.
2) The coffee is ground too finely.
3) The machine water circuit is
dirty (limescale).
4) The boiler pressure is lower
than 0.8 bar (0.08 MPa).
The coffee dispensed is tepid even
if the pressure is normal, between
1 and 1.2 bar (0.1 - 0.12 MPa).
In this case, the pressure detected
is false.
1) The boiler pressure is higher
than 1.3 bar (0.13 MPa).
2) The machine is covered by
something that prevents it from
cooling.
3) The machine was installed in a
position that does not allow air
circulation.
Possible causes:
1) Coffee grinding too fine.
2) The filter holder is dirty on the
inside or the filter is damaged.
3) The grinder components are
worn.
4) High pump pressure (> 10bar
- 1 MPa).
The set dose of coffee is not ob-
served and the output is continu-
ous.
1) Check if the mains water is
working and if the tap con-
nected to the mains is open.
2) The fault is due to the lack of
water inside the boiler

Advice
In case 1, keep the filter holder
mounted on the group. In case
2, adjust the grinding of the cof-
fee.
In cases 3 and 4, call a special-
ist technician.
Call a specialised technician to
check the bleed valve. In any
case, in the meantime, to be
able to use the machine, open
the steam tap drop-down menu
(Fig. 01; pos. 9), the boiler pres-
sure will drop to zero, which will
cause the heating element to
engage and the temperature to
rise. Perform this operation daily
when turning on the machine.
In case 1, call a specialised
technician.
In the cases 2-3, reset the ma-
chine cooling conditions.
Case 1 can be solved by adjust-
ing the grinder correctly.
For case 2, clean the filter hold-
er or replace the filter.
In cases 3-4, contact a techni-
cian.
Contact a specialised techni-
cian.
For point 1, do the checks.
For point 2, call a technician.
