Attention !
The FT-1000MP you purchased hasan updated ALC Unit,
which does not need the modifications for transverter op-
eration, as described on page 69 of the Operating Manual.
To disabel the power amplifire for transverter operation,
simply slide the TRV switch on the ALC unit to the
" TRV " position.
Also, the location of the headphone audio level adjustment
potentiometers (HPA-A/8, HP8-A/8) has changed.
Please refer to the enclosed drawing for the PC board lay-
out.
