INSTALLING
III
VIN AU VERRE 8.0
1. INSTALLING THE APPLIANCE
When your appliance is delivered, after unpacking, check the outside
and inside of your Vin au Verre 8.0 for signs of damage (dents,
buckling...). Open the doors and check that your appliance is intact
(walls, bottle connector sockets...).
If there is a problem, contact your EuroCave stockist.
Transport your appliance to its chosen location.
This place must:
•
be open to the outside to allow ventilation (not in an enclosed
cupboard)
•
not be close to a source of heat
•
not be too damp: for optimal use, max. 35°C/85% relative humidity
•
have a flat, stable surface
•
have a power supply (standard socket, 16 A, earthed with circuit
breaker, 30 mA* (* not applicable to some countries).
Precautions
•
Do not place your appliance in an area likely to flood.
•
Do not place the appliance close to a source of heat or in a place
where it is exposed to direct sunlight.
•
Prevent water or any other liquid from splashing onto any part of
the back of the appliance.
•
Position your appliance so that there is a minimum space of
5 - 10 cm between the wall and the back wall of your appliance.
•
Arrange the power lead so that it is accessible and does not come
into contact with any of the appliance's components.
•
Do not obstruct the ventilation inlets at the back of the appliance.
•
The ventilation inlets must be at least 5 cm away from any wall
or object.
•
Do not plug several appliances into a multi-socket adaptor and do
not use an extension lead.
•
Ensure that the water used for cleaning does not contain impurities
(in the form of large or small particles) in order to prevent wine or
gas leaks.
•
If it is necessary to cut the nitrogen supply lead, it is essential
that this is carried out with care in order to prevent the creation
of impurities (e.g.: a cutter). Other solutions could encourage gas
or wine leaks to arise.
2. FLUSH FITTING THE APPLIANCE

Installation
Set the 4 feet independently in order to level your equipment 2 - 3°
towards the back, to allow condensate to drain.
Then, unwind the nitrogen cylinder connection tube located at the back
of the appliance and leave in place until you connect it up.
To perfectly align the appliance's doors horizontally
and correct any surface unevenness, you can tighten or
loosen the front feet with a 19 mm wrench.
Place the 2 condensate collection drip trays underneath the product.
Each tray is inserted into the 2 rails on either side of the product.
• Wait 48hrs before plugging in your Vin au Verre 8.0.
• When moving or installing the appliance, never tilt it
more than 45°.

3. CONNECTING THE NITROGEN CYLINDER
N.B.: the nitrogen cylinder is connected via the back of the product - remember to connect it before flush fitting or before access to the back becomes
too complicated.
