4 Maintenance
•
The secretion aspirator Allegra M30 is maintenance-free if used
in accordance with the instructions for use, exempt from components with
limited durability.
•
Perform a visual and functional check prior to each application. Also include
the accessories of the device in doing so.
•
The device may only be opened and repaired by
Löwenstein Medical GmbH & Co. KG or by specialized personnel
authorized by Löwenstein Medical GmbH & Co. KG in compliance with the
service documents specified by the manufacturer as well as with technical
and hygienic safety measures.
•
The device may be returned to Löwenstein Medical GmbH & Co. KG for
repair either directly or via the specialty dealer you purchased the device
from.
•
All accessories must be cleaned and disinfected before the device is
returned. The device itself may be treated with a surface disinfectant.
•
In order to avoid time lags, notify Löwenstein Medical GmbH & Co. KG
prior to returning the device and mark the shipping carton of the device
with the label "Used Medical Device".

Löwenstein Medical GmbH & Co. KG liable for any resulting property
damage or personal injuries if:

original accessories and spare parts are not used,
•
the user instructions in this instructions for use are not followed,
•
installation, settings, modifications, enhancements or repairs are not per-
formed by Löwenstein Medical GmbH & Co. KG or by personnel author-
ized by Löwenstein Medical GmbH & Co. KG.
