REMOVING THE BATTERY

Read carefully indications given on
p. 66 (BATTERY).
PARTIAL REMOVAL
◆
Open the glove compartment as speci-
fied on p. 24 (GLOVE COMPART-
MENT).
◆
Undo the two retaining screws (1) on the
battery cover (2).
◆
Remove the battery cover (2).
!
CAUTION
Proceed with utmost care. Tongues
and/or seat grooves should not be dam-
aged.

Remove the battery (3) from its seat.
The battery is connected to electric ca-
bles. Do not pull cables when removing
the battery.

Hold and remove the battery (2) from the
back.

CAUTION

COMPLETE REMOVAL
◆
Disconnect the negative cable first (-)
and then the (red) positive cable (+).
◆
Store the battery (3) onto a flat surface in
a dry and cool place.

WARNING
Once removed the battery must be
stored in a safe place away from chil-
dren.
