7.3.3. Wiring on an 8400 with M12, 5-pin and
EN 175301-803 fixed connectors
DANGER
Risk of injury due to electrical voltage
• Always plug in and tighten the connectors correctly.
The tightness of the device is not guaranteed when the
EN 175301-803 fixed connector is not wired:
→ unscrew the nut [1] (see Fig. 5) on the 2518 female
connector provided with the device;
→ insert the plug provided with the 2518 connector into
the cable gland;
→ tighten the nut;
→ insert the plugged 2518 connector into the
EN 175301-803 fixed connector.

The M12, 5-pin fixed connector is adjustable:
→ Unscrew the locknut.
→ Turn the fixed connector to the desired position, by 360° max.
so as not to twist the cables inside the housing.
→ Tighten the locknut using a spanner, while keeping the fixed
connector in the desired position.
