5.4.3 Electrical connections

Check that the power to the electrical cabinet is off prior to making any connections. This wiring must
comply with the servoamplifier commissioning manual.
This cables (Feedback or power cable) is a choice for end user and must be conform local state
regulations.
For a solution with cables the end user will comply with local state regulations for his installation
For a solution with cables the end user will make the ul certification for his installation
The end user will determine which kind of connections and/ or conduits will be used.
When selecting cables, make sure that the cross-section is adequate so that voltage drops are
avoided.It might be necessary to fit a filter at the servoamplifier output if the length of the cable
exceeds 25 m; consult us.
Installers use any wiring other than that shown in the diagrams in appendix 2 at their own risk;
SSD Parvex SAS cannot be held responsible for unauthorized wiring.
Make sure that the characteristics of the contactors shown in these diagrams are strictly
followed according to the drive current.
CAUTION: the drive associated with the motor must not be in the explosive area!
Mention :a seal must be required within 18 inches of the motor.
