Commissioning

Warning
Unexpected movement of components.
Injury caused by impact or pinching.
• Ensure the following measures:
– Nobody can reach into the path of the
movable components (e.g. by providing a
protective guard).
– No foreign objects are located in the position­
ing range.
It should not be possible to touch the ELFA until
the load has come to a complete standstill.
• Commission the unit following the operating instructions for the drive axis (e.g. ELGA-TB-RF).

Maintenance and care

• Clean the ELFA guide axis as required with a soft cloth.
Any media which will not damage the material may be used as cleaning agents.
• For ELFA-RF-...-P0, check the installation space of the guide for foreign objects and remove these if
present.

– Positioning profile Z delta operation (frequent acceleration and braking)
– Ambient temperatures  +40 °C
– Product has been in operation for  3 years.
• If one of these factors applies, halve the lubrication interval S
• If more than one factor applies simultaneously, quarter the lubrication interval.
