• TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE

If the slicer is to be moved or stored, lock the carriage priorly.
o Lock the carriage (depending on model):
 Switch off and unplug slicer
 Set thickness control knob to 0
 Turn carriage locking knob counter-clockwise, until it is loosened completely
 Move carriage to the proper position: slicer will be locked automatically
o Unlock carriage:
 Turn knob clockwise to unlock carriage
 Carriage can then be moved

• CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

o Cleaning:
 Before cleaning any part of slicer, switch it off, unplug power cord, and set
thickness control knob to position 0
 Do not clean slicer with high-pressure cleaner, jets of water, in dishwashers and
sinks, but with a damp cloth and mild detergent
 Do not use tools like brushes or scouring pads because they are likely to damage
the slicer surface
 Use a regular disposable towel to wipe down the slicer, to remove loose food
residue
