Problem
The slicer does not operate
The slicer does not cut properly
The carriage does not slide

The slicer is too noisy
The blade sharpener does not

Solution
 Check the electrical power socket. Plug in and check
if the power button has been switched ON
 Check if the blade cover lock has been completely
fastened
 Check if the blade sharpener is installed
 The food product is not in a proper position or held
tightly enough by the clamp/pusher
 The product is pushed too strongly toward the blade
 The blade is not sharp enough. Sharpen it according
to the instructions enclosed in this manual
 Some parts of the slicer could be loose. Tighten all
parts securely
 Slicer parts are dirty or greasy. Clean the slicer parts
according to the instructions enclosed in this manual
 The blade is deformed or has shortened and needs to
be replaced
 Pour a few drops of lubricant onto the sliding guides
 Make sure that all parts of the slicer are tightened
properly
 Clean the sharpening stones
 If the grinding stones are worn, cracked or damaged,
have them replaced
