o Blade sharpener cleaning:
 Loosen sharpener locking knob
 Remove the whole blade sharpener
 Cleaning the blade sharpener by rubbling the sharpening stones with a soft brush,
dampened in alcohol
 Never wash either sharpener or sharpening stones in the dishwasher
o Deflector cleaning:
 Loosen the two screws of the deflector
 Take out the deflector
 Clean the deflector with warm water and mild detergent
o Lubrication of the sliding guides:
 Apply a few drops of lubricant along the carriage slides
NOTE: do not use vegetable oil to lubricate as it could damage the slicer.
