9. Do not use the Mobifor anchor system if one or
several 22 kg weights are not in place and correctly
positioned on the arms.
10. Do not install the Mobifor anchor system on any
water proofing surface other than those defined in
this manual.
11. Do not install the Mobifor anchor system on a
terrace roof having a slope greater than 5°.
12. Do not use the Mobifor anchor system if located
less than 2.5m from the edge of the terrace roof

13. Do not use the Mobifor anchor system beyond the
service life defined by Tractel
14. Do not use the Mobifor anchor system as a fall-
arrest anchor point for more than 1 person.
15. Do not use the Mobifor anchor system if the weight
of the operator with equipment is greater than
130 kg.
16. Do not use a Mobifor anchor system which has
served to arrest a worker fall.
17. Do not use the Mobifor anchor system as a means
of suspension for holding a work position.
18. Do not use the Mobifor anchor system in an
explosive atmosphere.
19. Do not use the Mobifor anchor system in a highly
corrosive atmosphere.
20. Do not use the Mobifor anchor system outside the
temperature range of 5°C to + 50°C.
21. Do not use the Mobifor anchor system if the drop
height is insufficient with respect to the fall of a
person, or if there are any obstacles located along
the fall trajectory (fig. 4).
22. Do not use the Mobifor anchor system if the shock-
absorber does not swivel freely around the pin or if
its length is greater than 200 mm.
23. Do not attach yourself to the Mobifor anchor system
by any other means or at any other location than the
attachment point located on the shock-absorber
(fig.6).
24. Do not place an interface between the 22 kg
weights and the waterproofing when installing the
system.
25. Do not install the Mobifor anchor system on a water -
proofing surface which has not been cleared and
cleaned beforehand.
26. Do not perform any repairs on the Mobifor anchor
system unless you have been trained and
recognised as qualified in writing by Tractel
27. Do not use the Mobifor anchor system if you are not
in good physical condition.
28. Do not use the Mobifor anchor system if a rescue
plan has not been set up beforehand to cover a
possible operator fall.
29. Do not use the Mobifor anchor system if the safety
function of one of its associated equipment items is
impacted by the safety function of another item, or
interferes with it.
30. Do not use the Mobifor anchor system without an
energy absorber as required by standard EN 355.

The Mobifor anchor system covered by this manual
must be stored and transported in its original package.
When stored or transported, the anchor system must
be:
1. Preserved in a dry atmosphere.
2. Preserved at a temperature of between – 35°C and +
50°C.
3. Protected against chemical, mechanical and all other
attacks.
The Mobifor anchor system must only be scrapped in
compliance with the applicable legislation of the country
in which it is used.
The anchor system must be processed as follows:
• The weight-holder arms, central structure and shock
absorber must be processed as steel type metal
