Before Initial Use

ATTENTION!
■ Keep children and animals away from the packaging material. There is a danger of
suffocation!
1. Unpack all parts and check the items supplied for completeness (see the "Items
Supplied and Device Overview" chapter) and transport damage. If you fi nd any
damage to the components, do not use them (!), but contact the customer service
department.
2. Charge up the battery (see the "Charging Up the Battery" chapter).

Charging Up the Battery

ATTENTION!
■ Remove the mains adapter from the plug socket if you are not using it for a pro-
longed period.
■ Make sure that the device is switched off before you connect it to the mains adapter!
■ It is essential that you charge up the battery fully before you fi rst use the de-
vice in order to achieve the maximum charging capacity. The fi rst charge will
last for approx. 14 hours.
■ If the battery is fully discharged during use, it will take approx. 14 hours for the
battery to be recharged.
1. First plug the barrel connector of the mains adapter into the connecting socket on the
bottom of the cordless vacuum cleaner and then into a properly installed and easily
accessible plug socket.
2. Allow the battery of the device to charge up for around 14 hours in order to achieve
the maximum charging capacity. The control lamp lights up when the device is
connected to the mains power.
3. First disconnect the mains adapter from the mains power and then disconnect the
barrel connector from the device.
4. Store it out of the reach of children.

The nozzle for liquids is inserted into the suction opening
of the collecting container. Use the nozzle for liquids to
remove wet dirt and small quantities of liquid on smooth
surfaces.
