Before Initial Use

CAUTION!
■ Danger of suffocation! Keep the packaging material away from children and ani-
mals.
• Unpack all parts and check the items supplied for completeness (see the "Items Sup-
plied and Device Overview" chapter) and possible transport damage. If you fi nd any
damage to the components, do not use them (!), but contact our customer service
department.
• Remove possible slips of paper, stickers etc. from the dust container and from the
device.

■ Before you attach or detach any accessories, ensure that the device is not connected
to the mains power.
Inserting / Removing the Suction Hose

The crevice nozzle is suitable for sucking up dirt and dust, e.g.
on upholstery, for cleaning the inside of cars. In addition, it is
ideal for places which are hard to get to, such as corners, an-
gles, crevices or recesses.
The brush nozzle is suitable for all uneven objects, furniture,
lamps, window ledges, profi les and skirting boards, as well as
for delicate objects such as picture frames, lamp shades, key-
boards, books etc.
• Inserting: Plug the connection piece into the suction open-
ing (7) on the device. When you do this, make sure that
the release lever is heard to engage.
• Removing: Press the release lever and pull out the suction
hose (5).
