– Carry out the check for leaks (e.g in Germany in accordance
with G 607).
– If the gas system is leaking, close the gas cylinder valve and
have the gas system repaired immediately by an expert. Do
not open the gas cylinder valve until the repair is complete.
– After the check is complete, be sure to turn the test valve
back (90° anticlockwise until it will turn no further) and re-
place the protection cap.
– Screw the threaded cap back onto the test connection.

Maintenance

The DuoControl gas pressure regulation system is
maintenance-free.
In Germany, the gas system must be retested every 2 years by
a liquefied gas specialist (DVFG, TÜV, DEKRA). The test must
be confirmed on the respective test certificate (G 607).
In countries where testing is not mandatory, we recommend
that the gas system be tested every 2 years for your own safety.
Pressure regulation devices and hoses must be replaced
with new ones no more than 10 years (every 8 years if used
commercially) after their date of manufacture. The operator is
responsible for this.
The filter cartridge in the gas filter must be checked for resi-
due (e.g. oil or clear liquids) at regular intervals, but at least
every time the cylinder is changed (see the gas filter operating
instructions).
