VERVIEW OF MAINTENANCE AND CARE FOR
When How
serveral times a day Clean strainer under running water.
Dispose of contents properly.
After each treatment Aspirate a tumbler full of cold water
Do not aspirate foaming cleansers.
In the evening Disinfect suction hoses with KaVo Aseptoclean 2.
Observe instructions included in Aseptoclean 2 package.
Several times a day Actuate backflush.
After surgical work, Check strainers. Replace as required, at the latest when suction
otherwise daily decreases. Cleaning cannot be recommended for reasons of
hygiene.
After each treatment Change, clean, lubricate and sterilize or disinfect outer surfaces.

Weekly or as required Open heavy particle collector with tool (order no 411 1843, from
accessories) and clean. Dispose properly of amalgam. Drain water
before reinstallation even if bowl does not need to be cleaned to
prevent overflow when opening the next time.
Only hand-tighten bowl (do not use tool).
Monthly or Wipe surfaces with KaVo paintwork preserver (order no. 411 1843)
as required and a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleansers or cleansers con-
taining acid. See sections A 1.3-1.4 regarding care and disinfection.
Monthly or Use KaVo Elastoclean spray II (order no. 489 3467 0.5 litre or
as required order no. 489 3469 1.0 litre) and wipe upholstery off with a
soft cloth See section A 1.3 - 1.4 regarding care and disinfection
Daily or Clean spittoon bowl according to instructions supplied with
as required Aseptoclean package.
As required Wipe the reflector with water and a soft cloth when the reflector is
cold. Do not use abrasive cleansers or cleansers containing acid.
Do not spray disinfect.
Aspirate 1 tumbler (approx. 100 ml) of cold water into suction hoses
used. Rinse spittoon bowl.
Daily Check filter drawer and clean as necessary.
In the evening Use Aseptoclean
Aseptoclean package.
