- The play between the washer (79) and the brake disk (80) must be between 0,3 and 0,5 mm . It is adjusted by
means of the locking nut (81). Fig. 46
- Checking: if the brake has been released, the brake lining (82) must turn freely.
- Push the brake release lever in or pull the Bowden cable of the brake release mechanism and check the function
of the brake release.
4.2.4

Tension of the toothed belt of the R20 transmission system

If the toothed belt is visibly sagging or if the belt sides flap against each other during the reversing motion, then the
belt tension must be corrected.
- On the drive unit, loosen the two nuts (37) of the Halfen frame fastening (13) (the screws (36) remain tightened
in order to prevent the drive unit from being displaced sideways).
- Loosen the securing nut (40) and pull the drive unit out ward by means of the tension screw (39) until the belt
tension is sufficient.
- Tighten the securing nut (40) and the hexagon head cap screws (37). Fig. 47

Checking the flexible power supply system GKA
- Check if the steel cable of the flexible power supply system is still stretched tight. If required readjust the tension
of the cable by means of the eye screw.
Energy chain of the V60 chain drive system
- The energy chain must not lie loosely in the chain guideway profile. If necessary replace the gliders.
