Setting-up procedure

The setting-up procedure is carried out after the main power is switched on for the first time or if the RESET key,
Fig. 39, is pressed for at least two seconds, regardless of the present position of the door.
- Drive unit function FULLY AUTOMATIC (VA):
The setting-up procedure is started without a command.
- All the other drive unit functions:
In order to initiate the setting-up procedure, a closing or step-by-step command must be given.
Attention:
The door must not be impeded during the setting-up procedure.
- The first movement to be carried out by the door is a slow-speed closing.
- Checking:
If the first movement is an opening, this means that the opening direction has been incorrectly set by DIL switch 6!
- As soon as the door is completely closed, issue an opening command. The door opens at slow speed until the
OPEN position is reached. At the beginning of the opening motion, the mass of the door is measured by a short
acceleration.
- Now the door path is memorized.
- Checking:
Is the door completely open?
If the OPEN position has not been reached, the reason why the opening has been impeded must be found and
eliminated. Then the setting-up procedure has to be restarted.
- Now the setting-up procedure is finished. The door closes with the programmed speed upon receiving the
respective command, or in the fully automatic mode (VA) as soon as the hold-open time has expired.
