Mounting the ASL with chain drive system V60

The present assembly description applies basically for single-winged (V60/1) and bi-parting (V60/2) drive units. The
installation procedure for the synchronizing head of bi-parting doors is described in chapter 2.4.5.
2.4.1

Determining the assembly position

Taking into account the building situation, the type of drive unit and the lintel height, determine the position of the
drive unit.
A) Drive unit (21) above the opened door (for V60/1 and V60/2)
B) Drive unit (21) behind the opened door (only V60/1)

2.4.2

Fastening the driver on the door

The door driver can be mounted on the door either in horizontal (1st choice position) or in vertical position.
Y-axis:
Is determined by the drive unit position and by the fastening possibility on the door. Fig. 20
X-axis:
Is determined by the door frame and, inasfar as possible, by the distance between the ceiling.
